Job Summary We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is passionate about the EV industry and Sustainability to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Canvassing and researching and identifying potential clients and partnership opportunities with the view to convert into business
  • Contacting prospect clients and presenting Roam fully funded and client funded EV Charging services
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients for long term and short term deals, taking the right steps to cultivate new relationships and rapport with B2B commercial clients and commercial landlords across the UK
  • Attending events and conferences to represent Roam and our brand; be a brand ambassador!
  • Working diligently using our CRM (HubSpot) and other tools and the team on the strategy to focus on e.g. certain sectors and regions
  • Work closely with multiple teams in the business to deliver an excellent client experience
  • Using experience to leverage relationships where possible across the Hotel, Residential and Real Estate sector
Skills / Experience
  • A motivated sales individual with a great appetite to succeed, with a can do attitude and the hunger to get the job done.
  • You are naturally very wired to be creative and highly influential when progressing commercial opportunities through the process
  • Excellent written skills and confident presenting to clients, you would have done this in your most recent role
  • Comfortable with data and tech, e.g. using CRM systems, sales analytics tools etc.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential
  • Ideally you have held a sales/commercial role where you have operated in the real estate, infrastructure or landlord sectors
Additional
  • This is a primarily office based role at our HQ in Crawley.
