Job description

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the charity. You will gain hands‑on experience in stock control, customer service, and administration while working towards a nationally recognised Business Administration qualification.

Job Spec
  • Order stock from suppliers as required
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update stock management systems
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure popular products are always available
  • Assist with preparing and dispatching customer orders
  • Ensure orders are packed correctly and dispatched on time
  • Liaise with couriers and logistics providers if needed
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email in a friendly, compassionate, supportive and professional manner
  • Answer queries about products, orders, or services, referring to senior staff when appropriate
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers feel supported
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier information
  • Prepare and send routine emails and correspondence
  • Support the wider team with ad-hoc admin tasks
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth running of the organisation
  • Willig to attend events when necessary and participate in social media posts with a profession and supportive attitude
  • Follow all company policies, including data protection and confidentiality

Hours of work

Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 5pm (35 hours per week)
