We are a reputable established business with a strong operational spread across the UK. We provide the full range of facilities management and M&E services including refurbishment and repair, planned maintenance, installation, energy conservation and project design.

We are looking for a motivated Building Services Apprentice to join our team to gain hands-on experience in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical engineering. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will develop the technical skills needed to install, maintain, and repair essential building facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in building services engineering while earning a recognised qualification. We will enrol you on a 4 year Building Services Course at Salford University, and ensure you are supported onsite by our experienced engineering mentors.

We have a very loyal and dedicated workforce, many of whom have been with the business for many years. Due to continued business growth combined with a strong order book of work with repeat business clients, there is no better time to join the Ford Mainwaring team!

Hours of work will be 8am – 5pm, 5 days per week.

The role of Building Services Apprentice will include:

• Assisting Engineers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Learning and applying industry Health and Safety regulations.
• Working on a variety of commercial sites across the Midlands.
• Gaining knowledge in reading technical drawings, using tools and equipment, and problem-solving on the job.
• Attending college or training centre as required to complete your Apprenticeship programme.
