A reputable mechanical services company is seeking a motivated Building Services Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical engineering. You will assist engineers with installations and repairs while attending a Building Services Course at Salford University. This apprenticeship offers structured training, market-aligned compensation, and opportunities for career progression in a supportive environment.
Ford Mainwaring is a privately owned business with over 45 years of experience in mechanical and electrical installations and maintenance. We are a reputable established business with a strong operational spread across the UK. We provide the full range of facilities management and M&E services including refurbishment and repair, planned maintenance, installation, energy conservation and project design.
We are looking for a motivated Building Services Apprentice to join our team to gain hands-on experience in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical engineering. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will develop the technical skills needed to install, maintain, and repair essential building facilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in building services engineering while earning a recognised qualification. We will enrol you on a 4 year Building Services Course at Salford University, and ensure you are supported onsite by our experienced engineering mentors.

Hours of work will be 8am – 5pm, 5 days per week.
