Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BMS Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, modification, and installation of control panels, as well as ensuring the seamless integration of BMS systems into existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, modify, and install control panels for Building Management Systems
  • Interpret and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  • Perform on-site installation and commissioning of BMS hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control panels and BMS components.
  • Work with both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to ensure successful project completion.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Travel extensively and stay away from home frequently to work on projects across the UK.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in designing and modifying control panels.
  • Strong understanding of BMS systems, components, and integration processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands‑on experience with on‑site installation and commissioning of BMS hardware and software.
  • Ability to work with single‑phase and three‑phase electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence is required.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with multiple BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls).
  • Knowledge of network and communication protocols used in BMS.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainability practices.
