A prominent educational institution in High Wycombe is seeking a qualified BSL Communicator to support hearing-impaired pupils aged 4-11 in mainstream classrooms. The role may be full or part-time, requiring a commitment of at least three days a week. Candidates should preferably possess a CACDP BSL Level 2 qualification and be willing to supervise children during lunch periods. Actual salary for full time (32.5 hours) £18,613-£20,171

8.30am‑3.30pm with 30 minute lunch break

We require a Communicator qualified in BSL to work with pupils aged between 4 and 11 years old. Working primarily in mainstream classrooms, the successful candidate will support one or two hearing‑impaired pupils and help them communicate more effectively with their class teacher and other hearing pupils. He/She will join the enthusiastic and energetic team of our Hearing Support Additional Resourced Provision. CACDP BSL Level 2 preferred or Level 1 with a willingness to undertake further study for BSL. The suitable candidate will also be required to supervise and assist the children during the lunchtime period for 30 minutes.
