Job summary

A childcare provider in Dunton Green is seeking a committed individual to join their Breakfast Club team. The role requires supporting daily activities for children and providing healthy meals in a clean environment. Ideal candidates should be creative, work using their own initiative, and enjoy working with children. Hours are Monday to Friday, term time only, from 7.15am to 8.45am. Training provided for those new to childcare. Salary is £25,126 FTE, equating to £4,325 pro rata.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible person to join our small friendly team delivering high quality childcare at our Breakfast Club in our beautiful new building. We are looking for someone who is creative, can work using their own initiative and above all enjoys working with children.

The working hours required are Monday to Friday, term time only, from 7.15am until 8.45am (7.5 hours in total). The annual salary for the role is £25,126 FTE (which equates to £4,325 pro rata).

Duties will include:
  • To support with planning of daily activities of the Breakfast Club to ensure children’s needs are met.
  • To work with other staff to and provide healthy meals/snacks in order to promote healthy eating.
  • To maintain the Breakfast Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene, before, during and at the end of each session.

Previous experience of working in a childcare environment is desirable but not essential as all relevant training will be given. We reserve the right to close thisvacancy early should sufficient suitable applications be received. Early applications are encouraged.
