Job summary

An environmental consultancy in the UK is seeking a motivated Botanist to join their Natural Capital team. The successful candidate will lead botanical assessments, support ecological projects, and provide technical reporting. Candidates should have strong botanical skills and be able to conduct habitat surveys. Qualifications

  • Associate (or above) membership of CIEEM or IEMA.
  • Experience completing UK Habitat Classification and Phase 1 habitat surveys.
  • Proven report writing skills and experience producing technical ecological documents.

Responsibilities

  • Support and lead survey work and condition assessments for Biodiversity Net Gain.
  • Produce high-quality technical reports.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary projects with terrestrial teams.
