Job summary

A leading consulting firm in the UK seeks an experienced SC Cleared BI Developer to deliver a significant data management system. The successful candidate will leverage advanced SQL Server and BI skills to collaborate effectively with civil servants and end users. The role offers a competitive day rate of up to £550 and is outside IR35, with a hybrid work model requiring occasional travel to Hampshire. Immediate start for an initial 6-month duration is available.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in SQL Server (2019, Analysis, Security, Objects, Jobs).
• Advanced experience with Visual Studio (SSIS, SSAS, DAX).
• Strong interaction knowledge with SSAS and Power BI Desktop.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high profile data management system for a major defence organisation.

• Ingest and cleanse data using SSIS.

An opportunity for a SC Cleared BI Developer to join a well established team to deliver a high profile data management system for a major defence organisation. Harnessing deep BI, SQL and Data engineering experience, the successful candidate will be a team player and work effectively with civil servants and end users.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced expertise in SQL Server (2019, Analysis, Security, Objects, Jobs)
• Advanced experience with Visual Studio (SSIS, SSAS, DAX)
• Advanced skills in SSIS (Package creation, Data ingestion, Data Cleansing & ETL)
• Strong understanding of interaction with SSAS and Power BI Desktop
• Strong experience DAX within Tabular Model
• Advanced experience in Active Directory
• Experienced in setting up and configuring Power BI Report Server (on premise)
• Experience working in Government environments to GDS standards
• Desirable experience in Military / Defence setting
• All candidates must be based in the UK and hold active SC clearance
