Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical, Civil or Marine Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in design from first principles and understanding of FEA techniques.
• Competence in 3D modelling is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering designs comply with customer requirements.
• Produce 3D model drawings and prepare design specifications.
• Liaise with departments to meet client needs.

Skills

Design experience from first principles

Competence in 3D modelling and drafting (AutoCAD Inventor)

Experience in checking and approving engineering design packages

Understanding of FEA techniques

Education

Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Marine Engineering

Working towards Chartered membership
