Bank Support Worker

Department: Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers

Location: Lammas Lodge

Compensation: £13.20 / hour

Description

Lammas Lodge is looking to recruit a Bank Support Worker to join the team.

We are located in the village of Lugwardine, in Herefordshire. It offers residential support for seven adult males on the autism spectrum. We are in a semi-rural location, off a main road, and surrounded by lovely views and beautiful countryside.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents' wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Support Worker you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.

What you'll bring to the role

You should be reliable, friendly, and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals, including personal care. You will support various in‑house activities and hobbies, while being attentive and inspiring residents to reach their full potential. Additionally, resilience is important as you may need to help manage some challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
