Clinical Lead Advanced Practice Physiotherapist – Pain Management

Band 8b – Royal Free Hospital / Edgware – Substantive 37.5 hours per week – Target start date 1 April 2026

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and line management to a specialist pain management physiotherapy team.
  • Lead operational service delivery, working closely with medical, psychology, nursing, and exercise therapy colleagues to innovate, progress service direction, ensure efficiency and embed new ways of working.
  • Carry a clinical caseload, demonstrate Trust values and fulfil responsibilities described in the job description and person specification.
  • Collaborate with the Outpatient Therapy Lead and wider pain management leadership for support and continuity.
Qualifications
  • Advanced practitioner physiotherapist with expertise in pain management.
  • Well‑developed experience of operational service delivery and leading teams.
  • Demonstrated clinical caseload and clinical expertise.
