Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice within an acute or outpatient setting.
  • Appropriate experience at a Band 5 level.
  • Experience of managing workload and patient flow during a shift.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a shift coordinator, ensuring effective running of the Medical Day Unit.
  • Lead and manage clinical emergencies including anaphylaxis.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team.

Education

Registered Nurse with active NMC registration
