Who We Look For

A typical week may include debugging python, deploying infrastructure changes, talking to product early-adopters, and strategic planning with the team leads. Responsibilities

• Working with product managers, researchers, and other engineers to define cloud‑native backend systems and project requirements.
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services with a strong focus on cloud architecture.
• Writing clean, well‑tested, and production‑ready Python code (with opportunities to use Go or Rust where appropriate).
• Deploying and operating production systems on AWS with an emphasis on reliability, security, and performance.
• Using Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage cloud resources.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Independent and self‑driven learner with a strong interest in cloud infrastructure and backend engineering.
• Python experience is required; experience or interest in Go and/or Rust is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
• Basic to intermediate Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Loki.
