As an Appian Associate Consultant, you’ll build and deploy web-based applications on the Appian platform to support our customers’ business strategies. You’ll be the expert on our software, from implementing the first business process management application to scaling the program across the enterprise.

Sample day (from current Associate Consultants):

When you start as an Associate Consultant you’ll help build applications to solve a client’s business need, including kickoff meetings, planning, executing the technical process, and delivering the project. You’ll work with other Appian consultants on the same project in a development team. Development is predominantly in Appian SAIL using the Appian platform to build applications.

You’ll learn all about our platform during the academy training in the US.

What you’ll be doing…

• Leverage experience in process improvement disciplines such as business process management, knowledge management, personalisation, business intelligence, and application integration
• Construct, implement, and deploy process-centric solutions based on Appian software
• Analyse a client’s business strategy and processes to develop technical solutions
• Design prototypes, model processes, and analyse requirements
• Implement quality assurance plans, load testing, and roll-out plans

To be successful in this role, you need:

• An understanding of at least one coding language and examples of applying that learning
• Strong academic record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid foundation of or enthusiasm for technology
• Preferred experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and cloud technologies

Basic Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Math, Physics, or equivalent
