Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant QS looking to progress
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings with the Client and Development Team.
• Assist with the preparation and agreement of Cost Plans & Build Packages for new schemes.
• Receive tenders and assist with analysis sheet for each contractor comparing tender levels.
• Provide necessary forecast and site budget information to meet reporting requirements.
• Assist with control and reporting of post contract cost movements.
• Ensure invoices/applications for payments are processed correctly.
• Assist in determining a sub-contract order.
• Manage site project administration diligently.
• Maintain necessary systems for file and information retrieval.

About the Role

Langcroft Developments is looking for a hands‑on professional to be involved in all stages of the company construction projects from inception through to completion. The successful Assistant Quantity Surveying candidate will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings with the Client and Development Team.
• Assist with the preparation and agreement of Cost Plans & Build Packages for new schemes.
• Receive tenders and assist with the analysis sheet for each contractor comparing tender levels.
• To liaise with the Development Team and provide all necessary forecast and site budget information to meet the business’s reporting requirements.
• Assist with the control and reporting of post contract cost movements to provide such monthly reporting as required.
• Ensure invoices/applications for payments are processed in accordance with Standard Terms & Conditions of Contract.
• Where necessary, assist in determining a sub‑contract order in accordance with Standard Terms & Conditions of Employment and liaise with the Development Team in this respect.
• Diligently use the Companies processes and procedures to manage site project administration.
• Maintaining necessary systems to efficiently file and retrieve information and to allow others to do likewise in accordance with the companies processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant QS looking to progress
• Relevant Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction
• Full UK driving licence
