Job Introduction

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of a high‑end residential development at our Nine Elms, Battersea office. You will be responsible for managing and supervising estate activities, working closely with the Property Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily monitoring of Fixfo and contractor management; instruct contractors for repair & PPM works and verify completion to specification.
  • Register/process claims with insurance company/assessor/broker and ensure claimants provide necessary insurance details.
  • Obtain quotes, gain insurer approval, and proceed with works.
  • Provide reports/upgrades to stakeholders as required.
  • Weekly uploads to ARK, site updates and resident information.
  • Respond to enquiries in the site mailboxes (phone, face‑to‑face, ARK messages) and flag high level items to the Property Manager.
  • Assist the Property Manager with service charge activities, including creating and agreeing annual budgets with the client and issuing to leaseholders.
  • Conduct block management activities such as quarterly site inspections, resident engagement, and health and safety audits.
  • Arrange all service and maintenance visits and discharge resulting actions.
Key Requirements
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results‑oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in property/block management.
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation (desirable).
  • Assistant management qualification (e.g., ATPI) (desirable).
