Job description

Interpath is an international and fast‑growing advisory business with deep expertise in a broad range of specialisms spanning deals, advisory and restructuring capabilities. We deliver tangible results for global businesses, their investors, and stakeholders when complex problems arise, and critical decisions need to be made. Interpath is agile, independent, and conflict‑free, and our passion for doing what’s right, every time, sets us apart.

Our diverse teams provide specialist technical knowledge combined with deep sector experience across our service line specialisms. Since our foundation in 2021, Interpath has grown rapidly, and we now have a presence across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, BVI, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Barbados, and Hong Kong. By 2030 we aim to be one of the world’s leading advisory firms with a truly global footprint.

An exciting opportunity has come up in the Communications team.

We are looking for an individual with 3‑5 years’ experience of internal communications and media relations, who is proactive and thrives on delivering cross‑communication campaigns. Internal Communications at Interpath broadly covers two areas: multi‑channel editorial, publishing and production and the organisation of all‑hands events (both in‑person and virtual), as well as building relationships across the firm, managing key stakeholders and supporting priority strategic and operational projects to help drive our employee engagement and experience.

The external communications element of the role will see you help to manage the firm’s relationship with the media and other external stakeholders: proactively pitching stories in line with the firm’s strategic priorities and helping to manage public interest in the firm. Working closely with colleagues in marketing, you will also support leadership teams across Interpath’s global network with social media campaigns, including the development of blogs for channels including LinkedIn. This is a varied role demanding a flexible and adaptable approach.

Key Accountabilities
  • Supporting the wider communications team in delivering internal communications activity across the business, including the drafting and publishing of newsletters and staff notices, facilitating town hall events (both in‑person and virtual), podcasts and videos.
  • Supporting the wider communications team in driving positive media coverage for Interpath, working closely with colleagues in marketing and our external communications agencies to help build the Interpath brand in line with the firm’s 2030 strategy.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with members of the media.
  • Drafting a variety of written copy for internal and external use, including newsletters, press releases, opinion articles and blogs.
  • Reporting and measurement.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Membership of professional bodies / organisations such as CIPR welcome, but not essential.
  • Have had a minimum of three years’ experience working in internal communications and / or PR / external communications, or in a cross‑communications role.
  • Experience of working in professional services is welcome, but not essential.
  • Thrive on creating impactful internal and external communications campaigns linked to a long‑term commercial strategy.
  • Have an established media network.
  • Have experience of delivering campaigns via social media channels.
  • Have excellent writing skills, with an ability to draft copy for different channels and audiences.
  • Understand the value of reporting, monitoring and analysing communications activity in order to plan for future activity.
  • Be adept at scanning the news agenda and spotting opportunities for the firm to comment aligned to our commercial agenda.
