Assistant Geospatial Surveyor – Ridge and Partners LLPWith one of the largest teams of Chartered Surveyors in the property sector, located in regional offices across the UK, Ridge and Partners LLP has the depth and breadth of experience, expertise and local knowledge to support its clients at every stage of property investment, ownership and occupation – from acquisition to disposal.

Due to continued growth, the Geospatial department is looking for an Assistant Geospatial Surveyor to join our multi‑disciplinary consultancy office in Leeds. The successful candidate will adopt a flexible approach, provide support to teams across the UK as workload dictates, and ensure that the data delivered meets the needs of our clients.

In this role you will benefit from on‑the‑job learning experiences while working on prestigious projects. They include large residential, industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million as well as smaller schemes, and you will also work with clients such as large retail companies, local authorities, schools/universities, contractors and developers, with the option to work on exciting overseas projects.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting surveyors for data capture using the latest robotic total station and GNSS technology
• Assisting surveyors in delivering projects to create 2D/3D topographical surveys using N4cE software
• Assisting surveyors using specialist laser scanning equipment including the Leica P40, Leica RTC360, NavVis VLX/MLX and Leica BLK2GO
• Analysing data using plans, maps, and software such as AutoCAD
• Preparing 2D and 3D survey drawings/models using AutoCAD and Revit
• Preparing and writing reports

Experience and Skills Required

• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Experience using survey equipment (total stations, laser scanners, etc.) would be advantageous
• Experience using AutoCAD would be advantageous, but not essential
• Experience using Revit would be advantageous, but not essential
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Full clean driving licence is required
• Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team
