Position Summary

As the Assistant Front of House Manager at The Scotsman Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in delivering amazing guest experiences at Scotland’s most iconic and luxurious heritage hotels. You'll deputise leading the Front of House team, including the Concierge & Reception Teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a prestigious hotel where your leadership and guest service skills will shine.

The Person
  • A great “can do” approach to customer service
  • Have a friendly approach to everyone who you come in contact with.
  • Comfortable motivating and leading a team
  • Have the ability to work independently with great problem solving skills.
  • Currently employed in a luxury hotel Front of House position
  • Excellent presentation and professional approach
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop your team
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for guest satisfaction
  • Opera Cloud knowledge is a definite advantage

Experience in a similar management role and experience with computerised reservations, particularly Opera, would be advantageous.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Great leadership skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a social environment.
  • Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
