A leading housing developer is seeking an Architectural Technician to join their Technical team in Leeds. The successful candidate will provide architectural support and guidance, manage working drawings, and coordinate with suppliers. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years experience in a technical new build environment and a relevant qualification. We have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join us as part of our Technical team in our Yorkshire West region, based from our regional head office in Beeston, Leeds. This role is a good opportunity for an Assistant Architectural Technician who is looking to take a step up.
The Architectural Technician is a core role within the technical team and is the main contact hub with the Planning and NHBC Portals for the team and also the invoice tracking system and document management system controller to ensure a reliable and consistent approach is maintained with these vital systems.
The main purpose of the role is to provide architectural support and technical guidance for both regional office and site-based operations. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

We are looking for an Architectural Technician who embodies our Keepmoat values; a straightforward professional attitude and approach to their work, organised and able to work under pressure. The postholder will take a creative approach to problem solving using their excellent communication and influencing skills. They will take a straightforward approach to providing architectural support and technical guidance. They will be passionate about housebuilding, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Technical new build environment. They will be collaborative; used to providing support to operational business units and building relationships with customers.
We are looking for someone with an Architectural related qualification, degree or equivalent. They will also have a high level of proficiency in relevant design and technical based software like AutoCAD, and general IT skills including an advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages.
