We are seeking an **AR & Credit Risk Manager** to lead a small team and ensure robust Credit Risk management, as well as oversee Accounts Receivable across the UK, Nordics, France, and other European markets.In this role, you will uphold, teach, and promote established procedures, focusing on compliance and continuous improvement.You will manage credit risk in line with group policy, guide insurance partners for optimal coverage, and educate the business on risk mitigation. You’ll also own AR activities for the region, including team management, process optimization, and collaboration with sales, supported by an outsourced service provider. The role drives process automation across Europe and acts as a key partner to leadership and internal customers.Join a modern finance operation with the latest tools and a supportive team, benefiting from an experienced manager open to new ideas and ways of working.**You will:****Credit Risk*** Ensure effective Credit Risk management across European markets, adhering to company policies while proactively identifying and mitigating risks through procedural guidelines.* Maintain relationships with insurance companies and brokers to secure optimal coverage.* Establish credit limit setting procedures for customers and business divisions, providing guidelines and measuring performance.* Educate internal collaborators on Credit Risk and mitigation strategies.**Accounts Receivable*** Oversee Accounts Receivable in the assigned region, supervising the AR and Credit team to ensure standardised operations and alignment of targets between onshore and offshore teams.* Lead debt recovery processes and manage escalated claims and disputes, ensuring timely resolutions to maintain business continuity.**Team Leadership*** Mentor and develop a high-performing AR and Credit team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.* Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and promote a growth mindset focused on continuous improvement and automation.* Ensure effective communication across business partners to provide valuable reporting insights.**Business Partnering*** Identify processes for automation and harmonisation to improve efficiencies, acting as a key partner to Sales and European Senior management.* Facilitate effective communication to support decision-making and drive value aligned with strategic reporting requirements.**You will bring:*** Proven experience in Credit Risk Management within a people management role.* Knowledge and experience working with in European credit insurance market and practices with different business portfolios from consumer sales to managed service contracts.* Proven track record in assessing, mitigating, developing and maintaining efficient credit risks processes including measuring performance for large and diverse portfolios in a multinational business.* Knowledge and experience of end-to-end Order to Cash processes* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop, effectively communicate, and implement strategies.**Your new office**Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment.
