A leading horticultural training provider in the United Kingdom is offering an apprenticeship opportunity in horticulture. The role involves performing various soft landscaping tasks and learning how to safely operate small machinery. Ideal candidates will be physically fit, eager to learn, and at least 18 years old. Successful candidates may progress to a permanent position and higher-level training within the company. This role provides valuable practical experience and qualifications in horticulture.
This is an opportunity to achieve a qualification and skills in horticulture, while gaining practical experience alongside other horticulturists. Duties include carrying out all aspects of soft landscaping.
Functional skills level 1 is a requirement for this qualification with support for learners who don’t have the equivalent grade 2, However working to level 2 will be put in place.
A permanent position may be offered upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. Opportunity to learn and develop within the company. Progression on to higher apprenticeship / training
This is a physical role working in all weathers outdoors. The work at times is physical so fitness is essential. Must be able to get the site to start the day. Due to the use of site machinery candidates must be 18 years old or over. Ideally you will hold a drivers licence or be in the process of obtaining one.
