We are looking for “Applied Services Consultants” and making our customers successful is at the forefront of everything that we do. Location: Belfast, NI (Hybrid) or Remote UK

Responsibilities
  • Develop multiple customer relationships to drive product adoption and results to achieve full business value of the solution
  • Understand strategic elements of the account to ensure solutions provided are supporting customer in reaching business objectives
  • Evaluation of customer data, including analysis of large part sets and identification of savings opportunities
  • Coach remote and onsite customers through sourcing strategies, and supplier negotiation approaches utilizing aPriori data, involving interaction with the supplier on the customer’s behalf. (Up to 25% travel can be expected)
  • Manage the project’s technical and strategic aspects within the sourcing use case, including scoping, execution, solution configuration, user training, and mentoring, with a focus on configuring reports tied to customer outcomes and occasionally adjusting cost models to reflect manufacturing needs and supplier capabilities.
  • Assist in Pre-Sales opportunities through remote and onsite cost down workshops
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Product Management on the direction of product offerings in the sourcing and design use cases
  • Awareness of aPriori software adoption and utilization trends, with a focus on driving renewals and capitalizing on expansion opportunities
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both internal and external
  • Technical knowledge of the product and in various manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge in Product Design, Manufacturing, Cost Management, Sourcing, Supplier Negotiation, and Design-To-Cost
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to balance multiple accounts
  • Strong consulting skillset, ability to effectively respond to objectives and high-stress situations, and ability to guide the customer to the best supported solution

Education and Experience:

  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Recommended minimum experience is 7 years total technical experience
  • Engineering background preferred
  • Demonstrates expertise on using the aPriori software in the sourcing and design use case to enhance the value the customer is getting out of the tool
  • Demonstrated success working on project teams with a record of high customer adoption and satisfaction
  • Experience with full procurement transformation, including sourcing, process development, organizational change, and business process review is highly desired.
  • Experienced in supplier negotiations and/or hands on design experience
