Job summary

A leading beverages company in the United Kingdom is seeking an Application Support Specialist to provide technical support for business applications. The role involves diagnosing issues, assisting users, and collaborating with IT teams to improve system performance. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in IT and 2+ years of relevant experience. Fluency in French is beneficial. Competitive package and permanent contract offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in application support or a similar technical role.
  • Experience with web applications, cloud environments, and CRM systems is preferred.
  • Ability to understand (read/speak) French is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve application support requests.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot application problems.
  • Provide guidance and training to users.
  • Log, track, and resolve incidents.
  • Work with development teams to enhance application performance.
  • Maintain accurate support documentation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvements.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting skills for software applications
Knowledge of web applications (.NET)
SQL language
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Microsoft technologies)
