Job description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Application Development: Work as part of the application engineering team to develop applications as per the needs of the business; including testing analysers, managing timelines, and collaborating between stakeholeders.
  • Operations Support: Work alongside operations staff to assist in movement of analysers through production in regards to complex applications.
  • Product Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge of process gas and laser analyser products, including their features, specifications, and applications, to support customer inquiries and sales efforts.
  • Solution Configuration: Work closely with sales offices to configure tailored gas analysis solutions that meet their specific requirements and regulatory needs.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to provide relevant market intelligence and assist in product positioning.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related scientific field.
  • Knowledge of gas analysis technologies and measuring principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of CRM systems a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience working with gas analysis equipment.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a scientist or engineering role, preferably within the gas analysis or instrumentation industry.
  • Knowledge of spectroscopic techniques including IR and UV-Vis
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to gas analysis (e.g., ISO, ATEX, ).
  • Understanding of process gas measurements including sampling, conditions and sample handling.
