Aftersales Parts Advisor - Christchurch, Dorset

Destination Motorcycles is a leading dealership specialising in high-performance motorcycles from top brands including KTM, Gas Gas, Husqvarna, MV Agusta. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences and quality products that cater to motorcycle enthusiasts of all kinds.

Destination Motorcycles is currently seeking a motivated After Sales Parts Advisor to join the team in Christchurch, Dorset. This role involves managing customer interactions in the aftersales department, ensuring smooth operations in the workshop, and maximising sales opportunities for service work, parts, accessories and clothing. It also involves providing temporary cover on the front counter to support the other front-of-house aftersales advisors. The ideal candidate will be very organised, highly motivated, driven, customer-focused, and able to deliver exceptional service standards.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
  • Daily control of all parts, accessories and clothing movements into and out of the business
  • Providing first class service to our workshop team by providing them with the parts and accessories they require to complete repairs
  • Supporting the whole business by responding to requests for support promptly and clearly
  • Handle warranty claims and ensure timely & prompt completion of warranty work
  • Liaising with customers who have items on order to ensure they are kept up to date with progress
  • Optimise every opportunity for selling service work and promoting the activity of the Service and Parts department
  • Ensure that aftersales customer satisfaction scores reflect the expectations of the business and manufacturer
  • Maximise every opportunity for the sale of motorcycle parts, clothing & accessories
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • 1-2 years of experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Motorcycle licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and time‑management skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
  • Self‑motivated, able to work on own initiative without constant supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to create relationships at all levels
  • A flexible approach to working
Working Hours
  • Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18.00, Saturdays (1 in 4, paid as overtime) 08:30 – 18:00 (1 st April – 30 th September)
  • Monday – Friday 08:30- 17:00, Saturdays (1 in 4, paid as overtime) 08:30 – 16:30 (1 st October – 31 st March)

Salary: £30,000 Basic + Bonus
