Job Description
About the role

We’re looking for a world‑class Affiliates Director to drive the next phase of our growth. You’ll own the strategy, execution, and double‑digit‑million‑pound budget for our affiliate program across our largest markets and brands. You will lead a team of specialists, build deep partnerships with our top affiliates, oversee the ongoing affiliate platform migration and improve ways of working.

The role requires a balance of commercial acumen, analytical rigour, and relationship‑building, alongside strong leadership to develop a high‑performing team. You’ll work cross‑functionally with several teams, e.g., Paid Media, Strategy, Analytics, Product & Tech, ensuring that affiliates remain a key growth engine for Entain while meeting the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.

You will have the resources, data infrastructure, and executive support to build a best‑in‑class operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the global affiliates strategy across Entain’s brands and markets; set objectives, roadmap and governance for sustainable FTD and NGR growth.
  • Manage a P&L & budgets in the double‑digit‑million‑pound range; own the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring spend aligns with planned budgets.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing, multi‑market affiliates team; set goals, coach for excellence, and build a strong performance culture.
  • Build and deepen strategic partnerships with affiliates; lead contract negotiations for our biggest global partners and deliver win‑win deal structures.
  • Oversee ongoing affiliate platform migration: lead communications & change management, ensuring smooth transition for affiliates and account managers.
  • Continually improve ways of working and tooling (e.g., affiliate platform, payments, approvals); standardise processes across markets.
  • Drive test‑and‑learn programs (welcome offers, landing pages, copy, creatives, funnels) to improve conversion and customer lifetime value.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with several teams, including Paid Media, Brand, CRM, Strategy, Analytics, Product & Tech, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Regional MDs / Country Managers to align plans, share insights, and resolve trade‑offs.
  • Prepare and present performance readouts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership; translate data into crisp decisions and actions.
Qualifications
Specialist skills & experience
  • Proven track record in affiliates or performance marketing, including leadership of high‑performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical rigor: fluent with acquisition metrics, incrementality and cohort analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and BI tools (Excel; Power BI/Looker/Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; exceptional relationship builder, and effective at simplifying complex analyses into clear decisions.
  • Growth mindset: designs experiments, moves quickly from insight to action, and continually raises the bar on quality and outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of tracking, attribution, and MarTech foundations (S2S/postbacks, fraud prevention).
  • (Optional but preferred) Understanding of the online gambling affiliate landscape and relationships with top global affiliates.
Competencies / behaviours
  • Highly motivated, driven by results and performance.
  • Able to manage and collaborate across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Develops & mentors talent by supporting personal growth & development.
  • Able to pivot thinking quickly and react to an ever‑changing business environment.
