Job description

Job Title: Affiliate Executive
Location: Bolton

We’re looking for an Affiliate Executive to join our AO Mobile team. If you’re someone who loves building relationships, spotting opportunities, and making things happen, this could be the perfect role for you! You’ll keep our affiliate channel running smoothly—working with partners, launching campaigns, and finding new ways to grow. It’s a hands‑on role where you’ll learn loads and make a real impact.

Our people are our superpower, and we’re unstoppable when we’re together! We want your ideas to flow, and what better way to make that happen than being based onsite, 5 days a week, where our culture fuels creativity, collaboration and growth. If a £1 bet in the pub between two friends can become the UKs most trusted electrical retailer, imagine what else can be achieved when we we’re together!

Responsibilities
  • Building relationships – Work closely with our affiliate partners and networks, making sure they’ve got everything they need to perform at their best.
  • Growing the channel – Source and onboard new affiliates to help us reach more customers and boost performance.
  • Running campaigns – Coordinate affiliate marketing campaigns, ensuring promotions and seasonal offers land on time and look great.
  • Keeping an eye on performance – Track key metrics like revenue, CPA, and CTR, spotting trends and sharing ideas to improve ROI.
  • Creating content – Pull together newsletters and promotional materials for affiliates, working with our Trade and Marketing teams to keep everything on‑brand.
  • Staying compliant – Monitor affiliate activity to make sure it meets our program terms and brand standards—and flag anything that doesn’t.
  • Keeping up with the market – Stay on top of affiliate marketing trends and competitor activity, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Qualifications
  • You’ve got experience in affiliate marketing (AWIN knowledge is a bonus, but not essential).
  • Building strong relationships comes naturally to you, and you’re a great communicator.
  • Pressure doesn’t faze you—you’re organised and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Commercial thinking is second nature, and you’re confident negotiating deals.
  • You enjoy digging into data, spotting trends, and finding ways to improve performance.
Benefits
  • Holidays – 25 days, plus bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 2 years with us!).
  • Pension – Contribute 5% of your annual salary and we’ll do the same.
  • Be a VIP at the AO Arena – opportunities to win free tickets and pre‑sale access.
  • Health & wellbeing – discounted gym membership, onsite spa and our Help @ Hand scheme providing virtual GP’s, mental health support.
  • Discounts – exclusive discounts across our product range.
  • Family leave – Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave.
  • Making a difference – 2 fully paid days a year to donate your time to any charity of your choice.
  • On‑site perks – free parking, complimentary breakfast and a coffee at our subsidised Starbucks.
A Bit About Us

When it comes to appliances and electricals, we’ve got the lot. Washing machines? Yep. TVs? Check. Laptops? Absolutely. Everything except doorbells (just kidding, we’ve got those too).

We’re known for helping our customers brilliantly – and it’s no different for AOers. We care about more than what’s on your CV, because together we can do extraordinary things.

Inclusion & Diversity

AO is for everyone! We should all feel that we belong. That’s why we’re creating a welcoming and inclusive place to work. We’re proud to be different. From how we look to the way we talk to our customers, we skip to the beat of our own drum. We know that being different together is our superpower and we celebrate it because it makes us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do.

We believe the people we employ should reflect the diversity of our customer base; that way, we can communicate in a way that recognises all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, genders, ages, religions, abilities, and sexual orientations.

AO encourages diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process and beyond. All candidates will be considered regardless of their background.
