Crail Golfing Society is the seventh oldest golf club in the world, and its two courses attract visitors and members from all over the world. This is an opportunity to work at a private members club considered to be one of Scotland’s most highly regarded.

We are seeking an Administration Secretary to provide essential administrative support across all areas of our club’s operations. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning by assisting various departments and handling multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Membership Secretary with administration of club competitions, team matches, new member applications, and social events.
  • Assist the Reservations Secretary with tee time bookings for members, tour operators, and visitors, as well as supplementary services (caddies, buggies, trolleys, club rental).
  • Coordinate group catering requests and liaise with the catering team.
  • Perform reception duties: welcoming members and visitors, handling enquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including franking and post office duties.
  • General office tasks such as filing and photocopying.
  • Support the Accounts Secretary to process payments for green fees, memberships, competitions, and social events accurately and promptly.
