Activity Coordinator – Richmond Villages

We are looking for an enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Richmond Villages care home. You will create a vibrant, joy-filled atmosphere for our residents, planning and delivering engaging activities that support their wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Run morning and afternoon activity sessions for residents.
  • Produce and update an activity planner and manage a set activities budget.
  • Organise birthday surprises and one‑to‑one sessions, using reminiscence tools, puzzles or simple chats.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events.
  • Support the home’s social media channels as required.
Qualifications
  • Creative thinker with many ideas and a sense of humour.
  • Experience managing budgets and paperwork, with good organisational priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to make a real difference to people’s lives.
  • Previous care home or activity coordination experience preferred.
Contract & Salary

Permanent contract, 16 hours per week, rota includes alternate weekends.

£12.60 – £13.60 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Location & Working Hours

The Springs Care Home – Spring Lane, Malvern, WR14 1AL.

Full time, flexible working, 28 days holiday.
