Role

We have a permanent vacancy for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our UK finance team with a strong focus on revenue reporting and credit control. This is a proactive role sitting within the UK Financial Control team and reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will be offered great support and hands on training to ensure your success within a rapidly changing and innovating environment.

Role Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the monthly billing cycles ensuring accurate, timely and complete revenue recognition for the UK and European markets.
  • Liaising directly with Account Managers and Business Controllers to establish strong lines of communication and accurate transfer of billing information between departments, including review of commercial terms for accuracy.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of contractual status of key customers.
  • Support Business Control with insights and commentary on performance and analysis on revenue.
  • Responsibility for daily cash postings and bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Credit control – ensuring customer payment terms are met and bad debt risk is kept to a minimum.
  • Ensuring that collected funds are correctly calculated and ready to be released to customers.
  • Assistance and supporting other Finance team members as part of month‑end close.
  • Liaising with and assisting customers with billing and other ad‑hoc queries.
  • A number of ad‑hoc financial projects throughout the year to maintain and develop solid financial controls in a dynamic rapidly changing marketplace.
What You'll Bring
  • Previous experience of working within a revenue focused role.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbally and written. Being comfortable working with team members from various departments outside of finance.
  • Ability to lead, drive change and automate processes.
  • Ability to understand the internal governance environment and is comfortable working to corporate policies and procedures.
  • A team player that is outgoing and fun to work with.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Experience with Netsuite is advantageous.
