Job summary

A fast-growing fintech startup is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will manage core accounting tasks including payables, receivables, payroll, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a qualified or part qualified accountant with over a year of experience in finance/accounting. Offering a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, this role also includes a discretionary bonus, pension scheme, and various benefits. Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of industry experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Experience across general ledger management, reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Process payroll and ensure timely salary payments.

Education
