What you will do
- Maintain and grow the customer portfolio, meeting retention and expansion targets.
- Execute successful cold calling and lead generation strategies.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of CRM updates, invoicing, and reporting.
- Drive sales pipeline growth and sustained revenue generation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
- Build, maintain, and grow a pipeline of business through proactive relationship development; strengthen CDW’s market positioning by developing high-value relationships.
- Identify, creating, developing, and campaigning sales opportunities within existing customers, aligning to the customer\'s strategy and objectives.
- Manage day-to-day sales activities and customer engagement, including issue resolution and investigating and resolving customer queries to maintain strong relationships.
- Collaborate with an Account Director to maximize sales within key accounts and execute campaigns with customer accounts to acquire, grow, and retain.
- Lead customer engagement on low-complexity product-based deals and manageable opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional (virtual) teams to support sales opportunities and ensure successful delivery.
- Follow up on in-flight deals, quotes, and commercial conversations with customers.
- Manage tactical vendor relationships for allocated customer accounts.
- Oversee new customer onboarding and introduce service tracking to customers, ensuring user training and adoption.
- Responsible for customer conversations regarding managed services and software renewals.
- Manage bill and hold negotiations with customers.
- Sales process optimization: ensure timely invoicing, CRM updates, and data tracking.
- Monitor performance: maintain accurate sales forecasts and report on account performance, including KPIs for individuals and teams.
- Maintain industry knowledge and stay up-to-date with trends and the competitive landscape.
What we expect of you
Required:
- Previous experience in IT reseller sales.
Desirable:
- Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and drive business growth.
- Experience in the Public Sector (where applicable).
