Company description

The Company

Publicis Sport & Entertainment (PSE) manages projects on behalf of brands and rights holders, including measuring the media impact and value of properties, measuring fan engagement and consulting on the most appropriate partnerships and content opportunities for brands.

PSE has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our Media Research account team, which services several of the world’s most prestigious sports rights holders.

Here our remit extends to the compilation and analysis of global audience statistics for sports events, includes trending viewing behaviours vis‑à‑vis sporting properties and entertainment genres, and to analysing media consumption habits across the increasingly changing digital landscape.

Essentially our insights into fan viewing behaviour sit at the heart of measuring ROI and ROO for our client’s partners, and helps rights holders and commercial agencies to maximise media rights opportunities and revenues.

Our Commitment Diversity and inclusion is a core part of who we are at MSL. We’re committed to building an inclusive culture that encourages, celebrates and supports our wonderfully diverse employee group – whatever their age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability or ethnicity. Diversity and inclusion doesn’t just fuel our creativity and innovation, it brings us closer to our people and audiences. We will continue to strive to create a culture and environment where everyone feels empowered and more importantly comfortable enough to bring their full, authentic selves to work.

Overview

The Role

As an Account Executive, you’ll dive into the data behind global sports and media audiences – turning numbers into insights that shape big decisions. You’ll help organise and manage audience projects across multiple markets, keeping things running smoothly day‑to‑day and supporting strong client relationships along the way.

If you’ve got a curious mind, love digging into data, and have a genuine passion for the business side of sport and media, this one’s for you. You’ll work closely with project leads across a range of clients and sports properties, gaining hands‑on experience from day one.

This is a data‑led insight role, whereby the successful applicant’s responsibilities will include the organisation of several global audience projects, day‑to‑day oversight of the project workflow, and effective client servicing. A keen interest in the commercial world of sport and/or media, combined with an inquisitive and analytical mind‑set is therefore essential. The successful applicant will report to and work closely with the project leads across a variety of client projects and sports properties.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted extension of rights holder insight teams and delivering exceptional service.
  • Lead and support media research projects – interpreting briefs, analysing audience data, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and quality‑check audience reporting and global broadcast databases across TV, streaming and social platforms.
  • Use data to identify trends and contextualise sports performance within the wider media landscape.
  • Share knowledge across the team and contribute ideas to enhance PSE’s products and services.
Qualifications
  • Strong communicator with excellent client servicing skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset and confident working with large datasets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in the commercial world of sport and media.

Nice to have (not required)

  • Knowledge of TV ratings systems (e.g. Techedge, Infosys).
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

The deadline to apply for this role is 02.02.26
