Based in London, the Account Director will report directly to the Business Director and be tasked with delivering revenue goals and business objectives across a lucrative agency patch.
Criteria
- Strategic seller with an excellent track record of prospecting and selling advertising solutions within digital media.
- Well connected within London media agencies.
- Intimate knowledge of digital advertising and a firm understanding of programmatic.
- Proven track record of successful prospecting, building strong pipelines and winning business.
- Confident self‑starter who learns quickly, uses initiative and is highly motivated.
- Harnesses a positive, solution‑driven mentality and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Team player.
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of ad‑serving and verification technology.
- Solid grasp of arithmetic, percentages, decimals and performance analysis.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve queries efficiently, effectively and courteously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sociable and outgoing, able to build relationships with ease.
- Impeccably spoken and written English.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient with all facets of MS Office.
Role
- Deliver business objectives and grow revenue.
- Unlock and identify new prospects, generate new business, and build/strengthen relationships with key agency clients.
- Build, manage and maintain a strong pipeline for the UK business at all times.
- Deliver best‑in‑class levels of sales ability, technique and market coverage.
- Manage a large client and agency portfolio.
- Identify new opportunities to leverage business and build relationships.
- Engineer and attend weekly meetings with clients.
- Devise effective sales initiatives that drive the business forward.
- Compile and present quarterly reviews and effective strategy plans.
- Advise clients and create brand loyalty.
- Achieve revenue goals.
Your Background
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience selling top digital media brands to UK agencies.
- A track record of outstanding sales achievement through new business, retention and account development.
- Experience driving revenue through strategic selling and negotiation techniques, face‑to‑face presentations and high‑quality proposals.
- Experience forging strong relationships with clients and creating compelling RFPs to meet the demands of a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Strong social and networking skills.
