Future Generations Leadership Academy Programme Lead (4 days per week/30 hrs. Maternity Cover).

Contract: Maternity Cover for approximately 1 year from April 2026 (funding dependent)

Salary: £47,676 pro rata per annum Place of work: Hybrid (some travel, Cardiff base, but mainly home working)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Lead to take the helm of our Future Generations Leadership Academy during a period of maternity cover. This is your chance to shape the next generation of leaders and make a lasting impact across Wales.

The Role:

What You’ll Do:
  • Design and deliver an ambitious leadership programme for young people (18–30) from every corner of Wales.
  • Build and grow our thriving Alumni network (150+ strong and counting!)
  • Create opportunities for participants to learn, connect with senior leaders, travel across Wales and internationally, and become lifelong advocates for the Well-being of Future Generations Act.
  • Lead residential learning experiences, secure funding, engage public bodies, and measure impact.
  • Responsible for line managing our Academy Support team member.
