Job summary

A leading water utility provider in Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide expert advice and manage employee relations. The successful candidate will have a relevant HR qualification and experience in advising on policies, training, and managing disciplinary cases. Job description
The role:
  • Provide expert HR and employee relations advice to managers on complex issues.
  • Drive HR best practice through policy review, audits, engagement activities, and process improvements.
  • Manage HR systems, data accuracy, reporting, and statutory submissions.
  • Support strategic HR planning and proactive initiatives aligned to organisational aims.
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases to ensure fair, consistent, low-risk outcomes.
  • Oversee recruitment, retention and workforce planning activities.
  • Lead learning and development planning, evaluation and HR team management.
The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential
  • Relevant HR qualification with experience in a similar role.
  • Strong experience advising on HR policies, delivering training, and managing disciplinary and grievance cases in line with NI legislation.
  • Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and provide strategic HR support.
