2D/3D Animator – Remote In-house role at Gaming Client

We’re looking for a 2D/3D Animator to join a new in-house team at one of our top clients. Embedded within our client’s organisation, you’ll have access to learning from a leading gaming company with the benefits of eight&four agency culture. This role is fully remote but limited to candidates based in the UK.

You’ll be a solid midweight 2D/3D Creative, able to work independently and with a range of client stakeholders. You’re calm under pressure, mature, a problem solver, and a strong team player for an expansive team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 2D and 3D animation and motion graphics for multiple channels
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet creative and project goals
• Lead and motivate small teams of creatives where applicable
• Ensure content consistency in style, quality, and tone
• Adapt quickly to changing business needs and timelines

Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in an animation studio, production company or advertising environment
• Art theory basics (composition and colour theory)
• A strong portfolio with 2D & 3D animation/motion graphics across multiple channels
• Excellent skills in the Adobe suite, especially After Effects
• Excellent storytelling and editing abilities
• Love and understanding of mobile games and gaming culture
• Experience leading and motivating small teams of creatives
• Great attention to detail, ensuring consistent style and quality
• Creative, adaptable, and able to respond to business needs
• Experience motivating creatives working alongside them

Bonus Skills:

• Typography and graphic design experience
• Illustration skills
