Cloud Architect (Azure)

Contract - 6 Months initially
Greater Dublin Area (2 days onsite)

We are currently seeking an experienced Cloud Architect (Azure) to join one of our clients customers on a new roll out programme, initial on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for a hands‑on architect with strong design experience and a solid development background.

The Role

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering cloud‑native solutions, working closely with engineering, product, and stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture and design for complex, enterprise‑scale systems
• Design and evolve Azure‑based solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with development teams to translate architectural designs into delivery
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across the full SDLC
• Contribute to architecture standards, best practices, and governance

Experience

• 8‑10+ years of overall IT experience, with strong recent focus on cloud architecture
• Proven experience as a Cloud / Solution Architect in Azure environments
• Strong design and architecture background (application & cloud)
• Hands‑on experience with React and Java
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native patterns, microservices, and modern architectures
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
