As a Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously on smaller projects, and as part of a team on larger projects. Job Duties:
- Directly engage with clients and stakeholders to effectively manage project deliverables, emphasizing quality and collaborative teamwork.
- Support several sectors, including transportation, buildings, industrial, pipelines, and water teams.
- Design and design management, business planning, project management, client account management, resource planning, proposal writing, and quality management.
- Assist in civil engineering tasks on projects of varying complexity and oversee smaller, discipline-specific civil assignments, which may involve supervising the design and construction of projects.
- Preparation of engineering calculations, creation of engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, compilation of engineering reports, and submission of necessary applications to regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution in Civil Engineering or related field and are a Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Possessing strong communication skills, which include a talent for effective leadership and managing people, as well as the capability to discuss project issues efficiently with clients, stakeholders, and reviewing bodies.
- A thorough understanding of all stages of civil engineering projects is crucial, encompassing both traditional and alternative delivery methods for public and private clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Outstanding time-management abilities, comprehensive knowledge of task delegation and scheduling, adept budgeting, and effective resource utilization.
