**Hiring Unit:** *Athletics & Recreation* **Position Summary:** Technical Specialist – Assistant Coach Redbirds Football **Primary Responsibilities:*** Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment* Assist in the preparation of game and practice equipment for the team* Record activities during games and keeping track of statistics* Assist with analysis of data and identify trends of game/team/athlete activity/competency during game and post-game and prepare reports to head coach* Support coaching staff in the implementation of practice and game plans* Assist with additional administrative tasks as required* Solid knowledge and demonstrated coaching skills of the Football sport* Level II NCCP certification or equivalent* Prior coaching experience at an elite/competitive level is preferred* Hold or have the ability to acquire CPR and First Aid certification* Organized, punctual, team-oriented***Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.*** ***Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
