Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, revision, and approval of contract language related to insurance and indemnity for Bombardier Aerospace and its divisions worldwide based on the corporation's Risk Management philosophy.
- Assist in the training, development, and integration of newly hired personnel in Contract, Supply, and Procurement staff at BA worldwide on the integration and application of base contract insurance and indemnity language.
- Assist in the design, negotiation, and management of insurance programs related to the Corporation’s construction projects.
- Participate in the identification, quantification, and evaluation of the Corporation’s material risks incurred during its operations.
- Follow renewal process, timelines, and critical path with external suppliers.
- Participate in market submissions, including gathering and analyzing underwriting data.
- Review and follow up on Renewal program documentation.
- Handle premium allocation, collection, and accounting charge back.
- Perform specific tasks related to designated programs that may vary.
- Support management in coordination and follow-up activities for various projects and management reports by participating in departmental communication forums and corporate initiatives.
- Support the team in the revision of contractual clauses related to indemnity and insurance language for procurement, sales, service, and supply contracts.
- Actively participate in and comply with the company's strategic objectives.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in finance or in insurance and risk management.
- You have a designation in insurance or risk management, such as CIP, CRM, FRM, or C.A.Ass.
- You have five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in a field related to the insurance/risk management industry.
- You have a good sense of planning, organization, and work rigor, with a high concern for excellence and quality of work.
- You are a motivated, customer service-oriented individual, known for maintaining and developing excellent interpersonal relationships.
- You respond quickly and efficiently to last-minute requests and respect deadlines.
- You demonstrate diplomacy, professionalism, and discretion.
- You are known for your team spirit and collaboration.
- You are proficient in MS Office (Power BI would be an asset).
- You have very good communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English.
