As a Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously on smaller projects, and as part of a team on larger projects. Job Duties:
Directly engage with clients and stakeholders to effectively manage project deliverables, emphasizing quality and collaborative teamwork.
Support several sectors, including transportation, buildings, industrial, pipelines, and water teams.
Design and design management, business planning, project management, client account management, resource planning, proposal writing, and quality management.
Assist in civil engineering tasks on projects of varying complexity and oversee smaller, discipline-specific civil assignments, which may involve supervising the design and construction of projects.
Preparation of engineering calculations, creation of engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, compilation of engineering reports, and submission of necessary applications to regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution in Civil Engineering or related field and are a Licensed Professional Engineer.
5+ years of experience.
Possessing strong communication skills, which include a talent for effective leadership and managing people, as well as the capability to discuss project issues efficiently with clients, stakeholders, and reviewing bodies.
A thorough understanding of all stages of civil engineering projects is crucial, encompassing both traditional and alternative delivery methods for public and private clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Outstanding time-management abilities, comprehensive knowledge of task delegation and scheduling, adept budgeting, and effective resource utilization.
