Senior Accountant – Abu Dhabi - 6 month fixed term contract - up to AED 230,000
Our client, a leading consultancy, is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and project cost tracking for a partner in the construction industry on a 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle bookkeeping and track/manage project costs.
- Assist with month-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with Middle Eastern tax regulations.
- Support cost control efforts.
- Use accounting software to produce accurate financial reports.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or a project-based environment.
- Strong understanding of Middle Eastern tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience using accounting software (DATEV, Tagetik, or similar).
- Fluent in local languages and English (B2/C1 level).
- Strong skills in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and project cost tracking.
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
