Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Abu Dhabi - 6 month fixed term contract - up to AED 230,000

Our client, a leading consultancy, is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and project cost tracking for a partner in the construction industry on a 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping and track/manage project costs.
• Assist with month-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with Middle Eastern tax regulations.
• Support cost control efforts.
• Use accounting software to produce accurate financial reports.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or a project-based environment.
• Strong understanding of Middle Eastern tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience using accounting software (DATEV, Tagetik, or similar).
• Fluent in local languages and English (B2/C1 level).
• Strong skills in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and project cost tracking.
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
