A construction firm is seeking a skilled and proactive nurse to enhance on-site health and safety initiatives. They will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of construction workers on site by providing medical care, implementing health and safety protocols, and promoting a safe working environment. This role involves both emergency response and preventive health measures to minimize workplace injuries and illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care for injuries and illnesses occurring on the construction site.
• Assess and treat minor injuries and coordinate with external medical facilities for serious cases.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of treatment provided.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections and risk assessments on the construction site.
• Monitor workers' health conditions related to exposure to hazardous substances or conditions.
• Manage and oversee the implementation of health surveillance programs.
• Act as a liaison between workers, management, and external healthcare providers.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of all medical information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Valid MOH license
• Previous experience in a construction or industrial setting is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations and provide critical care.
• Proficient in using medical and safety equipment relevant to the construction industry.
• Capability to lift and move equipment or materials as needed for medical and safety assessments.
