Introduction

Area of specialization: to analyse project requirements, implement measures to improve contract management functions by providing advice on transparent reporting, claims, compensation events (CE) performance and building contract management capability. Task Grade: G15. Business Unit: Asset Management. Location: Megawatt Park, Sunninghill.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and recommendations.
  • Participate in establishing and implementing a standardised governance framework.
  • Collect and consolidate project data.
  • Perform contract management capacity development.
  • Participate in benchmarking and implement best practices.
  • Implement and maintain sound stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage and resolve contract disputes, adjudications, arbitration and legal proceedings.
  • Manage and report on contract performance.
  • Review, plan and monitor integration.

Qualification(s)
  • B Degree/BTech/National Higher Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Law/Commerce at NQF7 with 360 credits.
Experience
  • 5 years. Contract management with emphasis on claims, compensation, events, variations and disputes under International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and New Engineering Contract (NEC) standard form contracts and commercial negotiations. Extensive multidisciplinary contract and project management experience.
