Job summary
A leading inkjet technology firm is seeking a hands-on engineering professional for a role centered on maintenance and optimization of complex production systems. The ideal candidate will have a BTEC Level 3 in Engineering and experience with automation systems, particularly in maintaining pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. This position involves collaboration across departments to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety procedures. Strong problem-solving and time management skills are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum BTEC Level 3 in Engineering discipline required.
- Demonstrable experience with problem solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of maintenance and optimisation of automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance according to schedule.
- Support the Equipment Engineering Coordinator in managing spare parts.
