The Project Manager must be able to work independently while remaining an integral part of a collaborative team, ensuring project success through clear documentation, risk management, and disciplined follow‑through.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate submittals (product data, shop drawings, engineering) with sales, vendors, and customers.
  • Conduct site visits for field measurements and on‑site coordination.
  • Oversee submittal approvals before material release and manage material purchasing and deliveries.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal teams and external labor partners for turnkey projects.
  • Track project timelines, material lead times, and manpower availability to optimize scheduling.
  • Manage change orders between field teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely resolution of punchlist items and completion of project closeout documentation.
  • Quality Control on installations and deliverables to customers.
  • Support invoicing efforts to ensure prompt billing upon project milestones or completion.
  • Assist sales staff with estimating and project scoping during the pre‑sale phase.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety protocols across all active job sites.
  • Travel: 20–30% (local job sites, throughout Virginia).
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you need: Minimum Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred; 3–5 years of experience project managing in the construction industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in BlueBeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, PlanGrid, Primavera P6).
  • Technical Competence: Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; solid understanding of construction project workflows.
  • Results Driven: Demonstrates strong determination to exceed targets in a fast‑paced, performance‑focused environment.
  • Knowledge Retention: Quickly absorbs and retains critical project information for effective decision‑making.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintains accuracy and thoroughness across all tasks and documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying issues and delivering practical, customer‑focused solutions.
  • Communication: Clearly conveys technical information to both internal teams and external clients.

Reports to: Director of Project Management and local Director of Sales

Status: Full‑Time, onsite in Virginia Beach area
