Overview

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end data migration strategy from Oracle/Netezza to Snowflake/S3
• Lead the data engineering team delivering CRM data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and analytics layers
• Define data modeling standards, data lineage, and governance processes specific to CRM datasets
• Implement Python/Spark-based pipelines that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for performance
• Oversee DevOps and CI/CD integration for data pipelines, working with infrastructure and security teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance, data masking, encryption, and auditability of all CRM data movement
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and usability for downstream applications (marketing, sales, customer service tools, etc.)
• Set and drive engineering best practices (code reviews, testing, documentation)
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on architecture, performance tuning, and cloud-native design

Required Skills

• 10–14 years of experience in Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, or similar roles
• Proven experience migrating large-scale CRM systems (preferably in banking or finance)
• Deep understanding of Oracle, Netezza, Snowflake, and Amazon S3
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, and distributed data processing
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT frameworks, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Harness, Docker, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD, unit testing, and monitoring/alerting for data pipelines
• Strong grasp of data security, privacy, and compliance in financial environments
• Ability to break down complex tech concepts for both tech teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
